The program DeWine put in place allowed curbside pickup, but there was no way to have contactless payment for those using EBT the same way customers using debit or credit cards do, said Bret Crow with the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services.

So, only WalMart and Amazon have been approved for the program, and an EBT card cannot be used to cover charges such as convenience fees or delivery.
