The Center In Apache Junction
The Center is a community resource center located at the Empowerment Systems office in Apache Junction. Community members can learn about other community programs and receive referrals for services needed.
We have computers, a printer, a telephone and a scanner available for community members to use at no cost to them.
On-site assisters help individuals apply for AHCCCS, SNAP, unemployment and other benefits they may qualify for.
In partnership with Local First AZ and Pipeline AZ, we help provide a centralized resource for rural career exploration and preparation in an effort to optimize how job seekers, students and businesses connect while keeping residents working in or near their hometowns.
By providing a dedicated onsite computer for employment assistance such as job searches, resume writing, unemployment applications and other forms of workforce development, the Center provides a unique resource to our community members.

How To Appeal A Denial Of Benefits Or A Low Benefit Amount
If you do not agree with the benefit decision given to you by the Arizona Department of Economic Security, you can appeal your decision in person, by mail or by fax within 90 days of receiving your determination letter.
To file an appeal, complete the Fair Hearing Request Form here or ask for one at a local Department of Economic Security office. You can also write a letter that includes the following information:
