SNAP benefits recipients in Florida could see their monthly allotments in October if the Biden administration does not extend the public health emergency declaration by October 15, 2022.
The benefits were increased under the Families First Coronavirus Response Act.
This allowed states like Florida to waive certain eligibility requirements and give households the maximum amount of SNAP benefits for their household size.
