Authorize Someone Else To Pick Up Your Target Curbside Order
Target recently added a Shopping Team feature in its app. You can use this feature to authorize someone else to pick up your order. Go into settings and click on Shopping Team. Youll then be asked to enter the other persons name and email address.
From there, its up to them to follow up on the email and add themselves to your team. They should be able to pick up the order just the same as you.
Honestly, before they added this feature I was already having other people pick up my order. Id have them text me their parking spot number once they arrived at Target.
Then Id go in the app to tell them I was there. Id take a screenshot of the white screen, and then text it to my person so they could hold it up to the window for the Target associate.
It wasnt hard. But the Shopping Team feature does make the process that much easier.

You can only use your EBT card to shop for SNAP-eligible items. You cant pay the delivery fee with your SNAP benefits. Since grocery delivery is considered a luxury, youll need to use an alternative payment method like cash or credit card to pay for the delivery fee.
Other payment methods accepted at Target include Target RedCard, third-party credit cards like Visa, American Express, Discover, MasterCard, Target Pcard, credit cards from foreign banks, third-party debit cards bearing Visa or Mastercard logo, Target GiftCards, Discover and Visa gift cards, activated AMEX gift cards, personal checks, cash, PayPal, among others. Target customers will receive their food orders through the companys delivery service arm Shipt, and the option to pay with food stamps will likely begin in late April, the company told Reuters. Thats why the digital SNAP payment option were rolling out this year is so important to food and beverage, Targets chief food and beverage officer, Rick Gomez, said earlier this month during an earnings call. Its going to make our entire experience, in-store and online, accessible to all families, allowing them to shop on their terms, regardless of how they pay for their groceries.
Target officials said earlier this month that revenue from food and beverage sales is growing quickly as more shoppers order groceries online. Food and beverage purchases generated $20.3 billion in revenue for Target in 2021, up from $15 billion in 2019. The percentage of customers placing food orders online rose to more than 13.% in 2021, up from just over 2% in 2019.
Some Target locations already accept EBT payments in-store. Walmart began offering SNAP payments for online orders in June 2019. Amazon followed suit a year later.

Ive experienced both. If the stores not super busy, you may get that notification that your orders ready within minutes of placing it.
If its a busy time of day, you may have to wait the full two hours before your orders ready.
That doesnt mean you must be there in two hours, though. Its not a set time slot. Just when your order will be ready.

Select Markets Will Get Target Curbside Exchanges In The Fall
Target is planning on rolling out curbside exchange capabilities in select markets in the fall. In these areas, its reasonable to assume that you might be able to claim price matching on the day of your order rather than going back in later for a price adjustment.
