There are seven allowable deductions that you can consider when determining your net pay. To figure out your net income, you have to figure out which allowable deductions apply to your situations and deduct them from your gross income. The difference is your net income.

The first test you have to meet to qualify for Food Stamp advantages is the gross income test. Gross income is a households income prior to any applicable deductions are applied. For a household of three, the poverty line used to calculate food stamp benefits in federal financial year 2020 is $ 1,778 per month. Therefore, 130 percent of the poverty line for a family of three is $ 2,311 per month, or about $27,700 per year.
