The Division of Family & Children Services Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program recipients will now be able to use their Electronic Benefit Transfer cards to buy groceries online for curbside pickup through Instacart.

It gives us great pride to be able to provide this premium experience for customers that really need it, said DFCS Director Tom Rawlings. On October 22nd, Aldi and Instacart announced a new partnership in order to accept EBT SNAP payments for same-day online grocery delivery and pickup. For the first time ever, EBT SNAP participants will be able to access fresh food and pantry staples via same-day delivery and pickup from Instacart.
This program begins in the coming weeks across ALDIs more than 60 Georgia stores, and will expand to more than 570 stores across Illinois, California, Florida and Pennsylvania in the coming months.
With EBT SNAP payments on the Instacart platform, customers will be able to shop and select from ALDIs EBT SNAP-eligible products. Once items are added to their cart, customers will be able to select how much of their benefits they would like to allocate to the order.

Target has over 1,900 store locations throughout all 50 states and the district of Columbia, all of which accept EBT cards for in-store purchases. If you live in one of the states participating in the USDAs online purchase pilot program, you can use your EBT card to shop online at participating target locations.
However, you wont be able to make EBT payments online. To complete the payment, you must swipe your EBT card at the time of delivery, and youll be subjected to a minimum order of $30 for home delivery.
