You can use your EBT card for Walmart Grocery delivery in eligible states. EBT is an approved payment method in states who are a part of the SNAP Online Purchasing Pilot Program.
You can check the USDAs website to see if your state is a part of the SNAP Online Purchasing Pilot Program. After clicking the link, click on your state, and a list of eligible stores will be displayed.
Keep in mind that you will need to have a second payment method, like a debit or a credit card , to pay for the non-approved EBT items. In addition, the delivery fee cannot be paid using your EBT card.

Why Don’t Most Food Delivery Services Accept Ebt Or Snap
To accept EBT or SNAP benefits these food delivery services must verify every single item on the platform to ensure they are qualifying purchases or not which is just too costly and burdensome for most of them to bother with this is why centralized delivery services, that only deliver their own products, such as Amazon Fresh and approved supermarkets through Instacart allow you to pay with EBT or SNAP, as the grocers have already verified every product they sell for EBT/SNAP eligibility.
The same isnt the case for restaurants, as restaurants are often times not big chains, and even when they are generally only a few items are EBT/SNAP eligible, and thus they simply do not bother with accepting the benefits for purchases. At this time it doesnt seem like this will be changing as none of the big fast-food or restaurant chain have made a move to accept EBT or SNAP be it in-store or for delivery purposes.

Amazon Accepts Food Stamps
You can shop on with food stamps if you receive your benefits in any state EXCEPT Alaska, Hawaii, Louisiana and Montana. You dont even need to have a Prime membership to qualify for exclusive deals when you shop on Amazon with food stamps!
You can also use P-EBT to shop on Amazon in all states except Alaska, Hawaii, Louisiana, and Montana.

Yes. However, the option to pick up your online items is dependent on which retailer you purchase from.
For example, when you buy your groceries online using your EBT card through Amazon, you cannot select pick-up.
When you buy your groceries online using your EBT card through Walmart, you can schedule a grocery pick-up at no charge.
Other grocery stores that accept CalFresh online, like Albertsons, Safeway, and Vons, provide the option to Drive Up and Go, where you bring your EBT card to the pickup area to make payment and receive your items purchased.

Snap Provides Families With Assistance Which They Can Use To Purchase Food In Stores And Via A Pilot Program Online But Are Meal Delivery Kits Included
The Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program is the largest food assistance program in the United States. It supplements low-income families food budget so they can afford to purchase healthy food and avoid periods of food instability. But there are limits on what and where recipients can use the funds given to them.
The money is often given to SNAP recipients on an Electronic Benefit Transfer card which generally have to be used in participating stores and cant be used to buy hot pre-prepared meals. The US Department of Agriculture has set up a pilot program that allows recipients to buy food online from retailors. And so far, one home meal delivery service permits customers to pay with the EBT card.
Does Postmates Accept Ebt/snap
Unfortunately no, Postmates doesnt accept EBT/SNAP currently this is because they pretty much only have restaurants on their service and all their food is pre-prepared and thus EBT/SNAP will not pay for it.
While we find those rules quite silly, as in some cases restaurants arent more expensive than cooking food at home especially if you have to rent a place with a kitchen as a result, those are the rules and theres not really getting around them.

Can I Make A Single Online Order That Includes Both Snap
Yes, you can split the purchases between your Lone Star Card and another form of payment. The online retailer systems are required to allow only SNAP-eligible items to be charged to your Lone Star Card. The cardholder must follow instructions on the retailers online system to pay for non-food items with other payment methods.
Snap Online Purchasing Pilot Participating States
During COVID, in-store shopping changed. We could no longer drop by the local grocery store whenever the need arose. Instead, our trips to the supermarket had to be well-choreographed and planned.
Retailers have responded to this crisis with many new programs. One such program is SNAPs Online Purchasing Pilot.
New York was the first state to start offering the pilot program in 2019. Washington state followed in 2020, and, soon after, Alabama, Iowa, and Oregon launched their own versions of the program.
As of this writing, the following states are participating in the pilot program:
If you live in one of these states, you can pay online with your EBT card. You can then pick up your groceries or have them delivered to your home.
The only thing your SNAP benefits wont cover is any related service fee. So, for example, SNAP wont pay for delivery fees.
The only three states that arent currently participating in SNAPs pilot program are Alaska, Louisiana, and Montana.

Does Amazon Accept Ebt/snap
Yes Just like with Istacart AmazonFresh and AmazonPantry are payable using your EBT or SNAP benefits You also get a discount off Amazon Prime if you have a EBT or SNAP card, however remember you dont need Amazon Prime to receive free shipping or buy many food-items off Amazon with EBT/SNAP.
Keep in mind though, you still wont be able to purchase non-food items like electronics or furniture on Amazon with your benefits purchases are restricted to food only.

1. Open your Instacart app or visit the Instacart website.
2. On the app, tap the three lines in the upper left corner. On the website, click the downward-facing arrow beside “Hi, ” and click “Your Account” in the dropdown.

Yes, you can.
Instacart is the worlds largest online grocery service.
You can shop for items from stores near you, with a selection of more than 500 retailers and trusted local groceris across North America.
Instacart offers curbside pickup at select retail locations.
You can place your order from the app, choose a pick-up time, and a shopper will prepare your order at the store.
If you have SNAP benefits and use your EBT to buy groceries, you can find several stores on Instacart and avoid the delivery or pick-up fee.
Information acquired by Instacart says that this offer expires on June 30, 2022. It always applies to a minimum of $35 per order.
Does Ubereats Accept Ebt/snap
No, currently UberEats doesnt accept EBT or SNAP benefits while many people say this is because UberEats only sells prepared food, and prepared food is not allowed through these programs this is simply not true as often times UberEats has non-prepared foods as well, not to mention semi-prepared foods are allowed .
Ultimately UberEats doesnt accept EBT or SNAP simply because they dont want the hassle of setting it up and the work that would go into verifying if something is EBT/SNAP eligible or if its not allowed to be purchased with such benefits.

To shop online for groceries with your New York EBT card, follow the instructions below.
Step 1 Go to the ShopRite website
The first step to purchase groceries online at ShopRite is to go to the ShopRite website and set your store location. You can search by state and zipcode.
Step 2 Login or Register an Account
After setting your store location, you can proceed by adding grocery items to your cart. When you are ready to checkout, login or register for a ShopRite account.

Step 3 Select Pay with EBT
Once you are at checkout, select EBT as your form of payment. Continue by entering your New York EBT Card number. You need to bring your EBT card and ID to the store for payment when you pick up your order.
