Increased Emergency Snap Benefits
All Coloradans who receive Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program benefits will continue to receive the maximum monthly amount of funds in February. The emergency allotment money is scheduled to be distributed between Feb. 6-11, 2022. SNAP recipients do not have to take any action to receive these supplemental benefits as they will be issued directly on their EBT cards. The CDHS news release on this update is online.
Fabens Health And Human Services Food Stamp Office
The El Paso Health and Human Services Food Stamp Office, located in El Paso, TX, administers the federal Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program for El Paso residents. How Do I Become Eligible For The National School Lunch Program For Summer P
- The socioeconomic form cannot be completed now to be eligible for summer P-EBT, unless a child attends a newly eligible Community Eligibility Provision or Provision 2 school.
- Families who were approved for NSLP because they filled out the socioeconomic form during the 2020-2021 school year are eligible for summer P-EBT.
- NSLP eligibility for the 20202021 school year ended June 30, 2021. If you chose not to complete, or your school did not provide, the household application for free and reduced-price meals , the deadline has passed. It cannot be completed to apply for 20202021 school year P-EBT.

If My School Gives Out Free Meals Am I Eligible For The National School Lunch Program
Free meals provided at a school may or may not be from the NSLP. Some Texas school campuses have offered free meals to all students due to the public health emergency. Receiving these free meals at school does not automatically make a student eligible for P-EBT. It is important to note that NSLP benefits require individual income eligibility unless a child attends a Community Eligibility Provision or Provision 2 school.

Child care-aged children who received SNAP food benefits at any time between June 2021August 2021 will automatically receive summer P-EBT benefits on their Lone Star Card Oct. 1115.
If you received 20202021 school year P-EBT benefits because you completed the P-EBT online application or you automatically received benefits because you were part of a SNAP family, you will have summer P-EBT benefits automatically loaded on your Lone Star Card or P-EBT Card Nov. 29Dec. 3.
