Can I Order Online And Pick Up My Items
Yes. However, the option to pick up your online items is dependent on which retailer you purchase from.
For example, when you buy your groceries online using your EBT card through Amazon, you cannot select pick-up.
When you buy your groceries online using your EBT card through Walmart, you can schedule a grocery pick-up at no charge.
Other grocery stores that accept CalFresh online, like Albertsons, Safeway, and Vons, provide the option to Drive Up and Go, where you bring your EBT card to the pickup area to make payment and receive your items purchased.
You Cant Withdraw Cash With Your Ebt Card At Atms
The USDA prohibits anyone from withdrawing cash from ATM machines with their EBT cards. A few examples of other things you cant do with your EBT cards include:

You may return or refund an item bought with a Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program Electronic Benefit Transfer card, so long as store policy allows it.
If you bought something and youre not satisfied with the quality, you can return it for a full or partial refund. The store will refund the money into your EBT card, as its against the law to get cashback with your EBT card.

EBT food stamps are government issued benefits that can be used to purchase food items at participating stores. Food stamp benefits can be used to buy groceries, including fresh fruits and vegetables, meat, dairy products, and non-perishable items. Though issued at the state level, EBT cards can be used in any state within the US. Its because SNAP is a federal benefits program, and all states must accept it. Thus, you can use your EBT card outside the issuing states.
The only exception you should be careful about is the Restaurant Meals Program . The federal government leaves it upon every state to decide whether or not to expand SNAP to include the RMP and allow the elderly, people with disabilities, and the homeless to buy hot meals at approved restaurants.
You may qualify for the RMP if your state participates in the program, but that doesnt mean youll automatically qualify in a different state. You may not be able to eat out at restaurants in another state if that state doesnt participate in the Restaurant Meals Program.
Not many states participate in the RMP, so prepare accordingly when traveling interstate.

If youre not happy with any item, you may request a refund. If SNAP EBT is used as a payment type, well follow guidelines from the USDA on how to process SNAP eligible refunds. If your item to be refunded is SNAP eligible and you used SNAP to pay for your order, we will refund the payment back to SNAP.
