Hello,I have raised my nieces for 13 years after the State of Florida took them from their parents and placed them with me. I am now down to one child who is 19 but is in 12th grade. They are now only giving us $19 a month in food stamps. Im a single woman making $15 an hour at a full time job. In the 13 years their dad has paid maybe $2500. total but DCF says it shows he is paying $263. a month which is not all coming to his child or the SMI. The amount can be $16 or $0 for months on end and occasionally $137. and it did not start until I had the girls for 8 or 9 years. I guess the question is can she apply on her how and get more support as a full-time high school student even though she is 19. Her parents failed her early on and we have not been able to catch her up the 3 years she was behind in school. Please help if you can.
