In 2017, the US Department of Agriculture , which oversees SNAP, launched a pilot program for people to order and pay for groceries online.
It has since expanded to almost every state in the US.
Amazon and Walmart were among the original retailers taking part in pilot program.
Currently, a business which accepts an EBT card needs to be approved and authorized by the USDA to take part in the online program.
What Can You Buy With Ebt
Most food items are covered by EBT and SNAP benefits. Some groceries you can buy with EBT include:
