School Pandemic EBT is a program that provides benefits for families to buy food if their children are unable to get free or reduced price meals at school because they are absent for COVID-19 related reasons or were learning at home during the 2021-2022 school year. The first benefits this year were provided on March 5, 2022 based on the number of days eligible children had during the months of August-October 2021. If your school is not on this list, we did not have the information needed to issue benefits for your child on March 5. You do not need to do anything at this time. We will continue to work with those schools to submit information for the next time benefits go out in early April. No child will miss out on P-EBT benefits for the days their school reports, no matter when that information is submitted.
