Report Lost Or Stolen Card

If you have lost your card, or your card has been stolen, call FIS Customer Service at 1-888-997-9333 IMMEDIATELY.

The first replacement card in a calendar year is free. You are charged $5 for each additional replacement card. When you or your EBT alternate cardholder requests 3 or more replacement EBT cards within a 12-month period, you will be issued a replacement card, but you may not be able to use it until you make contact to explain the reason for the replacement EBT card request.

Protect Your Benefits: Arizona EBT cards are NOT insured. Lost or stolen benefits CANNOT be replaced.

You are responsible for your EBT Card, Personal Identification Number , and the use of your benefits. KEEP YOUR PIN PRIVATE! In certain circumstances expired cash benefits can be replaced if you request a restoration within 6 months of the date the cash benefits expired. Six months after the expiration date, the cash benefits are permanently unavailable and cannot be restored.

The Home Energy Assistance Program is a federally funded program that assists low income households in meeting the high costs of home heating.

HEAP opened on Friday, October 1, 2021 and is expected to close March 15, 2022.

The 2021-2022 Emergency HEAP season will open January 3, 2022.

HEAP Regular Arrears Supplement information

The American Rescue Plan Act addresses the continued impact of the COVID -19 Pandemic by helping eligible HEAP households pay past-due arrears for natural gas and or electric utility accounts. Payments are made directly to an eligible HEAP households utility company. Benefits are provided to eligible HEAP applicants on a first come first serve basis through September 30, 2022 or until funds are no longer available.

When you should request the fair hearing?Request a Fair Hearing right away! You can request a fair hearing as soon as you receive a notice of decision that you disagree with, or if your benefits or services are changed without notice.

You must request a fair hearing within 60 days of the date of the notice for public assistance and Medicaid issues, and 90 days for SNAP issues. Even if you think you missed the deadline, you can still make the request.If you request the hearing within 10 days of the date of the notice, you can get aid continuing. Aid continuing means your benefits should continue unchanged until the hearing decision is made.

Because of COVID-19, most hearings are only being held by telephone, not in person. You have the right to decline a telephone hearing and ask that it be rescheduled in person at a future date.

In Florida, food stamps benefits are electronically distributed to your EBT Card on a staggered deposit schedule.

Can I Get New York Snap Right Away

If your household has little or no money and needs help right away, you may qualify for expedited SNAP.

If you do qualify, you must receive your initial benefit within 5 days.

However, you will will still have to complete the eligibility process and supply the requested documentation at a later date.

You can get expedited SNAP if any of the following apply to you:

• Your household has less than $100 in cash or other available resources. You will have less than $150 in gross income during the month that you apply.
• Your combined income and available resources in the month that you apply are less than the total of your rent or mortgage plus heat, utilities, and phone bills.
• At least one person in the household is a migrant or seasonal farm worker who has less than $100 in cash or other available resources.

Will President Biden Continue P

Yes. As of January 22, 2021, the Biden Administration passed a law to increase Pandemic EBT benefits by 15% to help fight childhood hunger.

Previously, the P-EBT program was capped at $5.86 per child per school day.

In addition, many households have had issues claiming their P-EBT benefits.

The 15% increase to the P-EBT Program will tackle the problem of food insecurity among children during the school year.

How Does It Work

• Food and Nutrition Services benefits are issued monthly through Electronic Benefit Transfer which automatically deposits the monthly balance into the households EBT account.

When paying for groceries, the recipients card is run through the electronic reader, and the recipient enters the PIN to access the account. No. You cannot use a P-EBT card to get cash at an ATM.

A P-EBT card can only be used to purchase food in most grocery stores and farmers markets.
