As far as delivery is concerned, if Walmart delivers to your area, that option will be available as well, along with an approximate time for when your items will be delivered.
Shopping on Wamart.com is just like shopping in their store. You can apply eligible, digital coupons whether you are purchasing toys, electronics, or EBT eligible items.
The only significant drawback to shopping at Walmart online is that during the holiday seasonespecially Black Friday after Thanksgiving, before Christmas, and after Christmasis that it will be difficult to get convenient pick-up and delivery times.

How Does Walmart Shopping Online Work With A Snap Ebt Card
When shopping online for groceries at Walmart.com, you can purchase eligible groceries using your SNAP funds.
Look for EBT eligible next to the product description to check if that item qualifies as EBT food. You can also filter by EBT eligible products during search.

Once a family or individual is approved for food assistance, adults of the family who are considered Able-Bodied Adults without Dependents must meet the work requirement in order to continue to receive food assistance.
An ABAWD is any individual who is:
- At least 18 years old, but not yet 50,
- Not in an assistance group with a minor child.
There are several different ways to meet the work requirement.
- Work 20 hours per week
- Participate 20 hours per week in a job search program
- Participate in a work experience program. The number of hours you must complete is the amount you are receiving in food assistance, divided by minimum wage.
Snap Users Can Now Purchase Groceries Online With Walmart
SHREVEPORT, La. Louisianans who benefit from the Supplemental Nutritional Assistance Program, or SNAP, can now order groceries online.
The Department of Children and Family Services recently announced SNAP users can order groceries digitally through Walmart.
There are some caveats, however. For example, users cannot use their benefits to pay for delivery services if they order online and only specially marked items can be purchased.
DCFS also anticipates the federal government expanding this option to other big box stores, though there is no word yet on when that might happen.
In a news release, DCFS wrote, EBT online grocery purchasing extends to other program recipients that make food purchases using EBT cards Pandemic EBT , the Family Independence Temporary Assistance Program or cash assistance, Kinship Care Subsidy Program and Disaster-SNAP .
According to DCFS, at the start of 2022, nearly 420 thousand Louisiana households, or nearly 860 thousand individuals, benefitted from SNAP. That number was markedly last year, while the country was still gripped by the pandemic and as hurricanes in south Louisiana displaced thousands of people.

NEW ORLEANS Louisiana families who rely on Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program benefits, formerly known as Food Stamps, can now order groceries online at Walmart stores throughout the state.
While Walmart is the first retailer to be approved for the online purchasing program, the Louisiana Department of Children and Family Services says it expects other retailers to be quickly added.
DCFS said residents can shop and pay for eligible foods online using their EBT cards and can arrange for delivery if available in their area. Delivery services must be paid with a separate payment method because SNAP benefits can not be used for delivery fees and other charges.
With this program, families who shop for groceries with EBT cards will now have access to many of the same conveniences and features weve come to take for granted, said Marketa Garner, Louisiana Department of Children and Family Services Secretary. For some of our recipients, shopping remotely could be life-changing. Many have limited transportation. Some have health concerns that make it safer to shop online.
EBT online grocery purchasing will also extend to Pandemic EBT , the Family Independence Temporary Assistance Program or cash assistance, Kinship Care Subsidy Program and Disaster-SNAP .
